The third ODI match between Pakistan and South Africa was played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, in which Ayub created a sensation by playing an inning of 101 runs. This is his third century in the last five ODI innings. Earlier, he had also shown brilliant performance in the T20 series.

But after that Sam Ayyub along with Babar Azam made a partnership of 115 runs. Babar scored 52 runs and after that Ayyub also made a partnership of 93 runs with captain Mohammad Rizwan. He hit 13 fours and 2 sixes during his innings of 101 runs.

Sam Ayyub is in such great form that he has scored 3 centuries in the last five ODI innings. In the last 5 innings, he has scored 379 runs at an incredible average of 94.74, which includes 3 centuries. If we look at Ayyub’s ODI career, till now he has scored 515 runs in 9 matches at an average of 64.38. When it comes to great batsmen in ODI cricket, the first names that come to mind are Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.
Sam Ayyub had also shown excellent performance in the T20 series before the ODI series against South Africa. In the first T20 match, he played a stormy innings of 31 runs in just 15 balls. In the second match, he caught everyone’s attention by scoring unbeaten 98 runs.
